What should I do if I have forgotten my account information?
Click on “Forgot My Password” in the upper right hand portion of the CE Corner home page.Enter the e-mail address that you used to enrol, and then click on “Submit” and your password will be e-mailed to you.

If I do not successfully complete the course, how many times can I repeat?
You may re-write the course as many times as necessary to achieve the passing grade of 65%.

What will my advisor number be?
Your advisor number is either your Investment Dealers Association rep or dealer code number.

What if I do not have a dealer or rep code?
The dealer or rep code is a required for your CE certificate. If you have any questions please contact service@advisor.ca.

Do any of the credits apply for IIROC compliance?
Courses are general professional development unless specified otherwise as compliance.

What do I do with my certificate once I print it?
You will need to keep the certificate to verify course completion. You will be responsible for sending verification of course completion to the appropriate governing body.

Are the courses approved by the Financial Planners Standard Council?
The process for accreditation is different for CFP professionals than it is for Advocis or the IDA members. The FPSC does not pre-approve credits as it is up to the individual CFP professional to make an assessment of which courses will be taken to fulfill their 10 general and 20 technical credit hours. Ideally, CFP professionals would continue with further education in topics related to the CFP syllabus.
